They had to rescehdule when a police emergency shut down the park where the range is located, but the hung in and had a great day! Congrats!!

Welcome back San Angelo Gun Club. They hosted a 2012 event that was a hit and are excited to be our very first returning range!

With 37 ranges in 15 states, the inaguaral event was a hit! The number one word used to describe the event in the follow up surveys was AWESOME! The photos were amazing, the smiles were so big! Every range that responded to our survey said YES they want to do it again and some have already blocked the date!

Thank you to all the host ranges and volunteers for your hard work and thank you to all the participants who came out and shot.

Planning underway for 2013

Mark your calendars for Jun 15th, 2013. Planning has started for the next event. We learned so much from the first one and appreciate everyone’s patience. Next year should be smoother. We hope to have all of this year’s ranges back as well as many new ones. Our goal is 100 ranges participating.

To support that, we are really counting on all of you for continued support and recommending up to vendors who might consider corporate sponsorships.

Welcome Laura Carson to the Board of Directors for NTYDTTRD. Laura brings a wealth of youth education experience as well as impressive organizational skills and she will be a strong asset to the organization.

Sponsors and Donors are needed

We had an amazing event on Jun 9 and are looking forward to next year being bigger and better and more fun for everyone involved. Overwhelmingly the ranges that participated this year have said YES they would host again next year. To keep this going we really need support. We had some very generous sponsors to help us get started and now we need help to keep going.

Where does the money go? This year much of it went to start up costs, incorporation, website, etc, as well as prizes, rack cards, etc.

Going forward we need to design a brochure for corporate sponsors, rack cards in sufficient quantity to distribute to ranges across the country to help them advertise their events, funding for some promotional materials for gun shows and trade shows, etc.

At no time have any of the directors been compensated for their time or effort. In fact we have spent a lot of our personal funds to make this happen.

We sincerely appreciate every donation, large and small, and committ to be good stewards of the funds, stretching them as far as possible.
